Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy will launch his flagship farmer assistance scheme today from Nellore district. Under the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisaan, which has been named for his father – former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy – 54 lakh farmers will get Rs. 13,500 over three instalments. Of these, 40 lakh are beneficiaries of the PM Kisaan Samman Nidhi and will get Rs. 6,000 from the centre in three instalments. The state government will add Rs. 7,500 to that sum.

Andhra Pradesh Government extending the YSR Rythu Bharosa- PM Kisan Scheme for the second consecutive year on the 15th of this month, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wrote a letter of gratitude to the to the farmers of the state.

In the letter he mentioned the fact that despite the difficult times due to the coronavirus, the State Government was committed to the farmers welfare. As per the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan Scheme , farmers, tenant farmers, eligible cultivators would receive Rs 13,500 per year.

More than 49 lakh farmers across the state will be credited with the financial assistance from the scheme for the second year in a row, while keeping the promise that the farmer will be given the amount before the Kharif season.

As per the scheme an additional Rs 17,500 will be given to the farmers in five consecutive years. As part of the YSR Bharosa scheme farmers were given Rs 50,000, with Rs 12, 500 given annually for four consecutive years.

YSR Rythu Bharosa List NEW UPATE–

The Andhra Pradesh government, headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, reassuring the farmers in all respects, has released the first tranche of the ‘YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme for the third year in a row, as it has done for the last two years. On Thursday, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy deposited cash in farmers’ accounts virtually from the CM’s camp office in Tadepalli. Speaking on occasion, the CM said that a program had been initiated to benefit the farmers. We are providing the first instalment of assistance for the third year under ‘YSR Rythu Bharosa with Rs 3,928.88 crore to 52.38 lakh farmers even during the covid crisis”, said CM YS Jagan.
Of the 52,38,517 farmer families eligible for farmer assurance this year, 1,86,254 are landless SC, ST, BC, minority and forest cultivators. A total of Rs. 3928.88 crore, including 1,010.45 crores under PM Kisan and Rs. 2,918.43 crore under the state’s farmer guarantee scheme would be disbursed into the beneficiaries accounts.

YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme Guidelines

• There are certain conditions that are required to be followed by the farmers in order to get the benefit of YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme
• Under YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme there is no restriction on land holdings by land owner families
• For tenant farmer there is a minimum required area which the farmer is required to take on lease which is as follows
  • 1 acre for agriculture, horticulture or sericulture
  • Half acre if the tenant grows vegetables, flowers and fodder crops
  • 0.1 acre for beta vines
• There is also a list of some exclusions under this scheme
