Like many state government now UP Government has also announced scheme for return of migrant workers and people to their state.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Guru has launched Pravasi Majdur Registration scheme for such people and migrant workers The online registration is available on the official website of UP Government uplabour.gov.in. where anyone who wants to return to the state can fillup the registration form available on the portal. The government has also launched helpline numbers for any kind of information or assistance required in this process.

The main objective of the scheme is that natives of Uttar Pradesh stranded at different places can return to their hometown, including pilgrims migrant workers as well as other people, but they must be natives of Uttar Pradesh and have proof of residence in the state. The registration process is compulsory for anyone returning to state via any means of transport. People who wish to return to the state have to access UP government official portal uplabour.gov.in and fill a simple and mandatory Registration form to get the permission to return to the state.
