What is the UPSC Exam?

The UPSC Exam means the Union Public Service Commission Exam. This exam conducted in three stages – prelims, main, and interview (personality test). It is a Government Reqruitment Exam. Those recruits for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, among others.

The UPSC exam Postponed
India is going to lockdown by two weeks from May 04 for controlling the COVID-19. According to this situation, CBSE to UPSC all examinations postponed.
The UPSC exam deferred the Civil Services {Preliminary} Examination, 2020, scheduled to be held on May 31, 2020. The schedule for the Indian Forest Service Examination also postponed.
“it will not be possible to resume examinations and interviews for the present.” UPSC examination commission said at a special meeting on May 04, 2020.
According to this situation, The Commission earlier postponed the personality test for the Civil Service examination 2019.
The UPSC exam – 2020 new dates:
The situation will review again on May 20, 2020. Fresh dates for these examinations shall notify on the UPSC website in due course.
When fixed a date for the exam, candidates will be notified at least one month before.

(b) The Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination – 2020
(c) The Combined Medical Service Examination – 2020
(d) The Central Armed Police Forces Examination – 2020
