The admission procedure for the Delhi Schools of Specialised Excellence (SoSE) for the year 2023.Candidates interested in enrolling in Delhi SOSE for the 2023 academic year may visit the official website, edudel.nic.in. Candidates who have already registered must log in using their registration ID and password. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Performing and Visual Arts, Humanities, High-end 21st Century Skills, and Armed Forces Preparatory Schools (AFPS) are the five verticals in which Delhi SoSEs specialise. An aptitude exam will be used to select students for the Delhi SoSE

Delhi SoSEs Admission 2023: Eligibility
- Students studying in government, government-aided and recognised schools of Delhi, who are also residents of Delhi (with valid residence proof) are eligible to apply for admission to SoSE.
- At least 50% of the students admitted to SoSE will be from Government or Government Aided schools. After qualifying the aptitude test, students will have to produce a pass certificate of their respective previous class (Class 8 for admission in Class 9 and Class 10 for admission in Class 11 during session).
- Students will be selected through an aptitude test that covers mental ability, mathematics and science.
- Eligibility Criteria
- A) Residence & previous school
Ambedkar SoSE admissions are open for students who are residents of NCT of Delhi (with a valid address proof) and are studying in a recognized school of NCT of Delhi.Both the residence and school conditions need to be met to be eligible for admissions in ASoSEs.
Note: Students currently enrolled in class 9th or above in the academic year 22-23 are not eligible to apply for admissions. - B) Age limit

● Regular students currently enrolled in class 8th(academic session 22-23) in any recognised school of Delhi are eligible to apply irrespective of age. - C) Reservation certificate
Candidates applying under the reserved categories should have a valid certificate approved by the Government of NCT of Delhi. Selected applicants will have to submit their certificate at the time of admission.
In case of OBC certificate (non-creamy layer), only certificates issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi will be considered valid. Applicants will have to produce their category certificate at the time of admission failing which the admission offer will be canceled.
- A) Residence & previous school
- Qualifying cut off score:
Since ASoSEs are Specialised schools, It’s essential that the applicants possess a minimum qualifying aptitude in the particular domain of their interest. In light of this, there will be a qualifying score for each specialisation. Qualifying cut-off score* refers to the minimum marks that a candidate requires to qualify for admission in ASoSE. The cut off for each specialisation will be decided by SoSE.
Note: There are two types of cut-offs: the admission cut off which is the last score point at which admission will be given to a student based on the availability of seats and the qualifying cut off which is the minimum marks a candidate needs to score to be eligible for admission. - Reservations
- A) Caste Category Following reservation will be applied for the allocation of seats: –
OBC – 27%
SC – 15%
ST – 7.5%
CWSN – 3%
The number of seats shall be rounded off to the nearest whole number (<=0.5 shall be rounded off to 0 and >0.5 shall be rounded off to 1)
In case the number of applications or number of students who have scored the eligibility cut off for a given category is lesser than the number of reserved seats for that category, the remaining seats will be allocated to the next reserved category as per Government of NCT norms. - B) Previous School
