The Punjab excise department will start the online order and home delivery of liquor across the state .The decision coincides with the opening of liquor vends in the state from 9am to 1pm. The sale at the vends will be allowed only during the stipulated hours.The cabinet, chaired by chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh, will put its stamp on the excise department’s order at its meeting on Thursday morning.
“We have completed all modalities related to starting the home delivery of liquor. We are hopeful that the department will get the green signal from state cabinet to go ahead with it,” said Navdeep Bhinder, Punjab’s additional excuse and taxation commissioner.

केंद्र सरकार की ओर से शराब बिक्री की मंजूरी के बाद देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से ठेकों के बाहर लंबी लाइनें लगनी शुरू हो गईं। सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग के नियमों की धज्जियां उड़ती दिखीं। ऐसे हालात ना बनें, इसे देखते हुए पंजाब सरकार ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है। वीरवार से पंजाब में शराब की ऑनलाइन बिक्री शुरू की जा रही है। इस दौरान शराब की होम डिलिवरी की सुविधा भी दी जाएगी। पंजाब सरकार ने शराब की होम डिलीवरी की अनुमति दे दी है। अब 7 मई यानी कल से घर बैठे शराब के मनपसंद ब्रांड को ऑर्डर किया जा सकेगा। डिलिवरी घर पर ही की जाएगी।

शराब की होम डिलिवरी के लिए सरकार ने कुछ नियम बनाए हैं। नियमों के अनुसार- शराब के ठेके 7 मई से सुबह 9 से दोपहर 1 बजे तक खुलेंगे। इस दौरान शराब के लिए ऑनलाइन ऑर्डर किया जा सकेगा। इसके बाद दोपहर 1 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक शराब की होम डिलीवरी की जाएगी। सीएम कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने इस आदेश से जुड़ी फाइल को मंजूरी दे दी है। गौर हो, शराब व्यापारियों ने पंजाब सरकार से होम डिलीवरी के लिए अनुमति मांगी थी। ऐसा ना किए जाने पर सरकार को दी जाने वाली लाइसेंस फीस में कटौती की मांग की थी।
