Objective Of Kharif Paddy Procurement Scheme

As we all know a bumper kharif harvest coupled with low demand for Swarno Masurie and this scares farmers a lot to pull down paddy prices below the minimum support prices. By keeping this in mind the Government of West Bengal has launched the Kharif Procurement Scheme. Under this scheme the state government will widen the rice procurement among farmers. And will buy around 45 quintals of paddy from them and this will benefit the farmers to lead their life.
