The Central Board of secondary education has got excellent scope for quizzers. Recently, the third edition of Ganga Quest is now available online and it is also known as the online National quiz on Ganga.The major aim of the Ganga quest is to enhance public participation and to increase ownership of children and youth for Ganga river which has started from March 22, 2022.On the other hand, the CBSE will organise the Ganga Quiz from April 7, 2022 to may 8, 2022. In other words, eligible candidates can check the notification of Ganga Quest which is launched by school authorities of CBSE board school. Anybody can view an official notification at cbseacademic.nic.in. 

The National mission for Clean Ganga has Marched with Tree Craze foundation for organising this particular quiz. In other words, the quiz registration process began from yesterday,March 22,2022. On that day, all social workers of every country celebrated World Water day.The quiz participants should know that the final quiz live round will be conducted on June 5,2022 on the basis of World Environment Day. On the other hand, quiz winners’ names will be declared on the day of Ganga dashara on June 20, 2022.

Ganga Quest Registration

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Ganga Quest quiz from April 7, 2022, to May 8, 2022. Ganga Quest is an online quiz competition on the Ganga river, which is conducted at a national level. The registration to participate in the Ganga Quest quiz starts today on March 22, 2022, from 4 pm, on the occasion of World Water Day. The third edition of the Ganga Quest is being organised by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) in association with Tree Craze Foundation.This scope seems to be very interesting for the aspirant quizzers. Ganga Quest Quiz: On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, the Ministry of Jal Shakti declared the final results of Ganga Quest 2022. The online quiz contest was held on the Ganga, rivers, and the environment earlier this month. The quiz was organized by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) in association with an NGO. The winners of the quiz have been announced in four categories – Grades I, II, III and IV.

Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat felicitated the winners in a virtual event. On this occasion, a document ‘Strategic Guidelines for Making River Sensitive Master Plans’ was also released. These guidelines have been prepared by NMCG in association with the National Institute of Urban Affairs.

Category-wise Winners of the Ganga Quest Quiz

In Grade I category: Krishiv Khandelwal, a student of class VI at Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (Mumbai), Mawiya Shrivastava, student of Class VII at RDJPS School (Delhi) and Osho Maheshwari, a student of Class VI at Amity International School (Noida) was declared the first, second and third winners respectively.

In Grade II category: Ashish Pandey of class X at Delhi Public School Ranipur (Haridwar), Hariom Gautam of class X Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Rajgangpur (Orissa) and Paramjot Singh of class X at Sacred Heart Convent School (Ludhiana) have been declared winners.

In Grade III category: Rishi Divya Kirti of class XI of Delhi Public School, Bokaro Steel City (Jharkhand), Vihaan Malik of class XII of Delhi Public School, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) and Shreya Agarwal of class XII of GD Goenka Public School (Ghaziabad) have been declared as winners.

In Grade IV category: the winners are Aswani Kumar Sharma, Guwahati University; Praveer, self-employed, Bokaro City, (Jharkhand) and Shiva Nigam of HPCL, (Kanpur).

Ganga Quest  Rules and Regulations:-

Participants’ age limit must be 10 years.

Contestants can participate in Ganga Quest and must register on the website along with an Aadhar Card as well as a valid ID card.

If participants do not have an Aadhar Card, they can participate with the help of valid ID cards such as passport, birth certificate and school ID.

On the other hand, mass registration is now available online for school students.

The school students must mention the correct information of their schools.

If the students give incorrect information, they can be disqualified during the verification process which will not be done.

As the quiz is available online so the participants should ensure the accessibility of computer network connectivity with a minimum speed of 512 kbps.

Eligibility Criteria & Documents Required List

Applicant must be above 10years old.

Applicant must be a resident of India.

The candidate must have valid ID proof like Aadhar card, School ID Card or Passport, etc.

Famous places, personalities and physical geography.

Fauna and Flora and water treatment technology

Governance and Current Affairs.

Live Quiz:-

A live quiz will be held for every grade between the weekly winners of the third round. On the other hand, the winner’s name will be announced as overall winners of Ganga Quest 2022.
