In order to provide affordable housing options to the homeless people in Navi Mumbai, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced its new housing scheme, Swapnapurthi in Kharghar area. Under the scheme, the corporation will offer a total of 814 houses for Lower-Income Groups (LIG) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of the society.The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has recently floated a lottery of 814 homes of its Swapnapurti Project. In this ambitious project, a total of 615 units are for LIG category while the remaining are for EWS category.

LIG homes are priced at Rs 39.17 lakh, while Rs 24.99 lakh has been fixed for EWS flats. The applications will be accepted from September 5, 2022 while the lottery will be held on October 17, 2019.CIDCO had recently announced that it will be constructing 1.09 lakh homes in Navi Mumbai’s Sanpada area where it has identified 230 hectares of land. The authority is involved in construction of more than 90,000 homes across different areas of Navi Mumbai.
