Ever since Kamal announced his decision, rumours were doing the rounds about the next host of Bigg Boss Ultimate. The OTT platform has made it official now. The latest promo shows Simbu gearing up to host the remaining Sunday episodes of Bigg Boss Ultimate.

Bigg Boss Ultimate will not be screened on Vijay Television.Streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar took to social media on Thursday, February 24 to announce that actor Simbu will be replacing Kamal Haasan as the host of Bigg BossUltimate, the Over-the-Top (OTT) version of the Tamil reality show Bigg Boss. A promo video of Silambarasan or STR was also unveiled. “Edhurpakala illa? (you did not expect this right?) Naanae Edhurpakala (I myself did not expect this),” Simbu says towards the end of the video.
Bigg Boss Ultimate: Taking to social media, Kamal Haasan announced his exit and said that he is “constrained to opt out” of the show due to the clash of dates with ‘Vikram’. Ever since he bid goodbye, discussion amongst the audience began as to who will step into his shoes. Going by the latest buzz, it is being said that none other than actor Silambarasan TR aka Simbu ha been finalized for the OTT version of Tamil Bigg Boss.
