Attack On Titan Season 4 Review of Last week Episodes
It didn’t go into great depth about the Titans’ lore in the most recent episode, “Retrospective,” which aired two weeks ago, but it did contain some of the most beautiful (and haunting) animation sequences seen so far in the series. The battle lasts for the majority of the episode, and it serves as a chilling reminder of just how haunting and horrific war can be at its most brutal.
After years of fighting alongside Mikasa, Armin, Erwin, Levi, and others, the Jaegerists have developed a stronger sense of self-awareness and fortitude. Nonetheless, they are no match for Pieck, Annie, Reiner and the other Titans in the long run. It’s heartbreaking to see what Paradis has become, and to see former friends now at odds with one another, fighting to the bitter end.
The Rumbling, on the other hand, is moving quickly. Liberio will already be destroyed by the time they are able to board the Hizuru boat and depart from the island. They intend to drag the boat to the mainland and repair it there in order to save time, as they can only hold out against the Jaegerists for a limited amount of time on the island.
One of the people who died in this episode was Floch, who was yet another victim of Gabi’s incredible sharpshooting abilities. He believed he was sacrificing himself in order to save Paradis, but it was not meant to happen.
