Ap Seva Portal | CM Jagan Launches Better Help Citizens: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on \, January 27, launched AP Seva Portal 2.0, an updated version of the Citizen Service Portal, to provide services to the people. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that all the officials right from village and ward secretariats to higher authorities will be using AP Seva Portal, a digital platform, to provide citizen services in a transparent manner.
The Chief Minister stated that the new updated portal has over 30 services of Revenue and Land Administration, 25 services of Municipal Administration, 6 services of Civil Supplies, 3 services of Rural Development and over 53 services of Energy departments. The initiative will take governance closer to the people where even those in remote villages can also avail citizen services right from their doorstep, without running from pillar to post, he said. With the new service, members of the public can track the status of their application by themselves without any hassles, he added.

Services Provided Through AP Seva Portal
All those citizens who live in remote villages can also avail government services right from their doorstep. 30 services under revenue and land administration, 25 services of municipal administration, 6 services of civil supplies, 3 services of rural development, and 53 services of energy department are offered through this portal. This improved portal will also allow approval of all the applications online and officials can also provide certificates and documents online with a digital signature. This portal services can be accessed from any secretariat across any Village or ward secretariat. A volunteer system was brought into public service delivery at the local level. About four lakh people are part of the delivery mechanism offering about 540 services directly to the citizens. Since January 2020, 3.46 crore government services were provided to the citizens through the village or ward secretariat

Objective Of AP Seva Portal
The main objective of AP Seva Portal is to provide various government services to the citizens of Andhra Pradesh from the comfort of their homes. Now citizens are not required to visit government offices in order to avail various government services. They are just required to visit the AP Seva portal and from there they can apply for various services. This will save a lot of time and money and will also bring transparency in the system. AP Seva portal has made applications under various schemes easy. Other than that SMSes are also sent to the citizens in order to update them about their status of an application.

- The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy launched AP Seva portal 2.0 on 27 January 2022.

AP Seva Portal 2.0
Chief Minister YS Jagan on 27 January 2022 launched AP Seva which is an improved citizen services portal for an improved delivery mechanism. It is an integrated digital platform for all services from the village secretariat to the state secretariat and intended for better inter-departmental coordination.

While launching the AP Seva Portal 2.0, CM mentioned that the initiative will take the governance much closer to the people. Accordingly, people living in remote villages would be able to avail citizen services right from their doorstep without running from pillar to post. CM asserted that this is being done in a true spirit of Gram Swaraj.

Ap Seva Portal
You have to follow the following application procedure while applying for the Andhra Pradesh Meeseva portal:-
- First, click on the Official Website link given here

- On the homepage, click on the option of “Meeseva Online Portal”.
- A new page will be displayed.
- Click on “New Registration”
- The registration form will be displayed in front of you.
- Enter your basic details.
- Click on the Submit button.
- The registration form will be submitted successfully.
- An OTP will be sent on your mobile number.
- Enter the OTP.
- Click on the “Confirm” button.
- A message of “Thank you for registering! A confirmation email has been sent to the registered mail ID. Please click on the Activation Link to Activate your account” will be displayed.
- Your account will be activated only when you click on the activation link sent on the email.
- You will see the message “Congratulations your Account has been Activated”.
