golden jubilee scholarship scheme 2025:The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) runs the Golden Jubilee Scholarship to financially help the students from the economically weaker sections of the society to pursue higher education. The scholarship is provided to students who are studying in a Government/ Private college/ university and are pursuing a career in Medicine, Engineering, other graduation courses, diploma courses, and even vocational training courses. The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship is of two categories:

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2025
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2025 is a great opportunity for the students who want to pursue their higher studies. The scholarship is also provided for technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and also Integrated Courses after Class XII. The scholarship amount differs from course to course.
General Scholarship:-
- have passed the Class 10 or 12 examination
(or equivalent) in academic year 2022-25 with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent) - have secured at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade)
- be pursuing higher education in the first year in the fields of graduation, vocational/diploma courses, integrated courses, in a government-recognised college/institution or a course in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI)
- have an annual parent(s)/guardian(s) income of not more than ₹4,50,000 from all sources
Special Scholarship for Girl Child:-
- have passed Class 10 examination (or equivalent) in the academic year 2022-25 with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade)
- be pursuing higher studies in intermediate/(10+2) pattern/vocational or diploma courses in a government-recognised college/institution or course in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years
- have an annual parent(s)/guardian(s) income of not more than ₹4,50,000 from all sources
